I have a TomTom ONE Aus Edition and the other day I went to turn it on and it came up with an error message: "No maps found". It is really frustrating as I use it quite a lot.
What can I do about it, I went on the tomtom site and found nothing. I couldn't even find a contact number. If anyone could help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks |

I had the same problem. I found a solution on my Dell x51v. When I receive this message remove my SD card and then restart TomTom, this fixed the problem. Please keep in my I have TomTom maps on my CF card.
Hope this helps.

Ok this has worked on at least four Tomtom one’s and one TomTom xl’s that i have tried,
First of all connect your Tomtom to your computer.
Making sure your online,Go to log on.
Download the latest TomTom home
If you’ve not created an account create one now.
If you’ve had to create an account restart tomtom home.
You should have the tomtom home screen in front of you,
Now even if tomtom home is showing you logged in, ignore this.
Click your email address in the top right hand side of the screen and log in again and click continue.
Then click Device/disconnect device.
Now your Tomtom will update itself and your maps will be restored.
Please let me Know if this has worked for you.

This worked for my TomTom One XLT Europe too.
Thanks for this fix - it sorted it out after a couple of tries (had to restart TT Home a couple of times).
Brilliant! Thanks loads for the fix!

Sorry no it hasn't worked at all for me!
I've tried that loads of times now and still shows "No maps found!" error.
I've even tried formatting my card, then copying everything back over - I'm back to where I started... "No maps found!" Even though my map is shown in all the files and under 'show contents of my ONE'
Please help!

Sounds like a file is missing from the TomTom map directory. Try and download another copy of the map. What version map is it? If you are trying to install if it is a v7 map, it won't show if it is 675 map.
Try another copy...
