It seems that there is a one-time fee that has been alluded to but nobody has come out and stated what this fee is. So, in fact, the site really isn't free as has been alleged.

True Christopher, it isn't free if you want to download our Road Safety POIs. Our members get free Road Safety updates, and our guests can download some favorite POIs, hotels, restaurants and stores for free.

There is a lot of free info available but to get all info a registration is required.
Someone has to pay for the info obtained and correlated , try getting free anything from Microsoft, Apple, etc etc etc.

Just wondering how do you download free data as a registered member?

I've registered and I'm now trying to download the "Garmin GPI file (One click updates) - Fast and easy" option but you have to add it to your basket which then takes you directly to a Paypal screen where you have to pay.

Am I in the right area/doing it properly?

Thanks for any help.

I am a little confused about this, i thought paying the one time registration fee was for access to the speed camera POIs but when trying to download some it asked me to add them to a cart then wanted to charge me £1 for 1 selection.

Maybe I need to look around the website a little more?

Hi mickyowens,
Our registered members can download free updates (CSV, GPX, OV2 files). You can download our GPI or DB3 files only if you add some files to your cart.
Regards

Thanks for the reply, is there a way of being notified once an update is available?
