When I updated my maps the pc told me to unplug and turn off the sat nav and then turn on again , it turned off ok but wont come on again ? Please help...

Not sure what brand GPS you have but would suggest phoning the manufacturer for advice.

Have you tried replugging in your GPS back into your computer and then you might be able to reload your maps once more.

Post Nuvi 40 or 50 series locking and wont boot up

If it is a Nuvi 30,40 50 series, there is a bug in the OS which will cause unit to lock...anytime. Garmin have got a little app to hard boot and reload to factory OS system.

I had the same problem. I just reconnected it to the pc a day later and it seemed to fix itself
