Hi everyone, can I change the internal battery in my Garmin Nuvi 310 myself or do I have to return it to Garmin to do for me?

Thank you it's as I suspected but working with electronic devices for the past 45 years, its a bit annoying when u can't do it yourself.

Try new batteries batteries for your model. I had an iQue 3600 with a dead battery and it wasn't worth it to send it to Garmin. I purchased a better-than-factory battery for about $5 or so complete with installation instructions and changed it myself. Its still working to this day. Garmin will void any warranty if it is still covered so keep that in mind.
