Our GPS POI Tools are upgraded. You can load, edit and export Garmin's GPI, Earth's KMZ, KML files, Nokia's LMX files, TomTom's OV2 files and GPX XML files for Garmin in addition to some other common POI formats.

What is ...?
LMX is Landmarks Exchange Format Specification used onto the S60 platform provides various interfaces for accessing locations and maps. The standard Navigation / Landmark applications are found on most S60 Symbian OS based phones and the Smart2go (Nokia Maps) software.
CSV stands for Comma Separated Values, sometimes also called Comma Delimited. A CSV file is a specially formatted plain text file which stores Point of Interest for Garmin, Navman, etc.
OV2 is program file overlay created to display TomTom Point of Interest Files as used by the TomTom GO and TomTom Navigator.
GPX stands for GPS eXchange Format, an XML schema used for transferring Garmin GPS data (waypoints, routes, and tracks) between software applications.
GPI is Garmin binary file format generated with Garmin's POI loader software, which is compatible with some recent Garmin GPS device.
EST is Microsoft Streets & Trips data file format used to provide various information services, locations and navigation maps.
KML is Keyhole Markup Language, an XML-based language for managing the display of 3D geospatial data in Google Maps and Google Earth.
KMZ is a compressed KML file format. Our POI tools can read and export a KMZ to GPX, KML, CSV, OV2, etc.
