Two months ago I purchased a nuvi 765T. When I would begin to spell a name when looking for a business, the first and second letter would appear and with both inputs a beep sounded. However, the remaining letters did not show up, nor was there a beep. If I waited for several seconds the rest of the name would appear. I sent the unit back and got another one. This one does it also. Does anybody have any ideas of why this is happening, or are you having the same issue?
Have had the 765t for 10 months and no problems so far.
Have you done a software update for the Garmin, as there was one released only a couple of months after release.
Send Garmin am email re problem as they are quick to reply.
