I have loaded some POI on my Nuvi 255W using Garmin's POI loader.
However, when I'm trying to save new addresses in the Address book, I get an error message saying that the Favotires memory is full.
I cleared the Garmin\GPX folder without success, I had to remove the Garmin\POI\poi.gpi before I could add anything to my address book.
After loading the POI's to the GPS, check and see how much memory is left over, you may be exceeding your memory capacity.
The GPS shows up as another drive when connected to your computer and memory can be checked there. Had the same problem originally when trying to load more than the Memory would take..
Actually, I'm not sure what happened; it looks like I was hitting the 1000 favorites limit because the custom POI were copied to the favorites for some reason, maybe due to operator error
I cleaned everything (favorites, custom POI), then re-loaded the POI and verified they didn't show up in the favorites.
Once this was done I can save favorites without any error.
