You will have to make a sound file that you wish to use (one you can hear) and save it in the format of .wav or .mp3 depending as to which file format your GPS uses. Then it has to have the exact same name as the file it is used with but with the sound extension.
i.e Red_light_ahead.wav or Red_Light_Ahead.mp3 to match the file Red_Light_Ahead.gpx Then load it with POI loader. |

Don't try to edit anything, just make the sound file as stated, AND, you then load it all via POI Loader. That is what the loader does, converts all the files and extensions into one file called POI.gpi and that is what is actually loaded to your GPS. Easy as.. |

Thanks for explaining it so clearly. So it seems like I can't extract the original BMP and GPX files from the GPI files.......but is there any way to fix my problem? |
