| Posted by markzemail Mercedes Comand GPX files I have inbuilt Mercedes COMMAND GPS system. I am a member of GPS DATA TEAM website and have managed to download a .gpx file and placed it on an SD card in the folder named "PersonalPOI". COMMAND recognises it and I can get visual and audible alerts. Excellent. Mercedes COMAND GPX has categories and icons. Does anyone know how to quickly add this line to every POI? Or GPS-Data-Team can you create a gpx file for Mercedes COMAND? | Posted by eppa-GPS44 Code floating around It basically worked for me, I had to use a script to stop getting <name> in front of the names. It is a bit tricky to download and install, but possible. The easiest solution would be a sed script, you just need a nerd to write it. Chris |

| Posted by life.by Personal POI Myself experience for the new Comand Navi users. If I want to keep personal POI (include cameras warning) works, I have to leave SD card inside Comand system. Otherwise, the Comand Navigation will not show the Personal POI data. |

Hi, You can give a try the following way: 1) You can change default POI Icon, Category Name or POI Time in 'Settings' if desired. 2) Perform conversion and a 'PersonalPOIs.gpx' file will be generated. 3) Save this GPX file into a new folder named 'PersonalPOI' on an SD Card, and you're read to go. |
