| Posted by Guest MY-ESCAPE Missing Camera warning and other late alerts Purchased a My-Escape in Dec 2011. Recent trip from Sydney to Tamworth gave alerts for 3 only cameras and all 3 warnings were late. Camera warings were "200, 100, 60 mtrs ahead" when at the exact camera position. All other cameras on trip NO warnings at all. Some of the NO warning cameras have been in existence for many yrs and did function in earlier models. Most speed zones (except for recent changes in last 12 months) are accurate so resetting is not the problem. Problem appears to be missing camera locations in navman data. Unfortunately for Navman the data they use is inaccurate from the 3rd party data supplier. I will be checking findings on return journey to confirm missing camera locations and will advise further. | Posted by kangy323 I am not happy with my my MY75T I am not happy with my my MY75T it has a similar problem, in town all camera are called out but once in the county there is not a squeak in the country, the co-ordinates are there as I turned on the camera picture but do you think ti will give a warning, anyway have loaded the alerts from here but that should not be necessary, and I am having trouble with the sound, I have nothing like the problems I have with the TOMTom |

| Posted by krauel Re: MY-ESCAPE Missing Camera warning and other late alerts Sent device back to Navman for a rebuild. When it came back: 1. Windscreen mount no longer works; 2. It doesn't turn on automatically; 3. Can't load pin because it says I haven't registered the device. When I try to register it, I am told it is already registered!!!!!!! Am I now supposed to let it float around the car (charges without the windscreen mount) and hope that someone steals it? A good result for me but pity the poor thief. :cry: |
