| Posted by styukodi POI BMPs don't show I have a 1490 and I uploaded some POIs using POILoaderforWindows_261. the data uploaded fine, but the BMP icons do not show up on the device. I uploaded the csv and bmp files, is there something I forgot? |

Just out of curiosity, when you say they 'don't show', do you mean you get nothing or you get black squares where icon should be? I've been trying to track down the reason for black squares for a couple of weeks now with no luck. |

Please update the software using webupdate, and it should show all the icon after that. It happen to me also. |

BMP icon have to be 8 bit to display, I'm searching for some software that can convert from 24 bit bmp to 8 bit. I know photoshop CS2 or CS3 can do that, but I don't such a big program to install on my laptop just for that. Anyone know some smaller app that can do? Thanks |
