Mine was also an upgrade from a 750 and i'm very happy with it... except for the random rebooting which started about a month ago. Also it sometimes completely freezes... and the only way to get it to do anything is to hold the power button down until it turns off.. sometimes takes ages.... in desperation (one morning it froze 4 times in 30 minutes) i reset the unit to defaults.. and now it works fine again.. apart from the random reboots.. does anyone else have this issue and may be able to shed some light on why? thanks in advance : :? |

I think the best solution is to speak to Garmin as the unit is faulty and still under warranty. IT SHOULD NOT happen, and you do not have to accept a faulty unit. |

| Posted by WillTon firmware Have you upgraded to the latest firmware ? - They are supposed to have resolved the rebooting. If not please call Garmin otherwise they wont do anything about it. |
