Garmin 1490 Satellites

I have a Garmin 1490 and the help file says to see the satellite signals, just touch the signal strength bars.
When I do this, nothing happens.
Is there a trick to get to the satellites?

On my nuvi 760, it's not a momentary touch. You need to touch the signal strength bars for a few seconds (3+).

Confirmed

I have the 1490 too. Yes, you just press and hold the satellite signal strength icon for about 3 seconds, you will then see the signals and accuracy information. A very nice informative screen.

Wow learning new things every time reading the forum. Wondering how those circles and satellites are relative to where you are?

This is available on all models of the Nuvi series, as explained in the manual.

My manual does not talk much about the satellite screen.

In the main menu press and hold the the signal strength bars until the satellites are displayed unlike the other icons there is no beep indicating you are pressing the right spot which can be a little confusing
hope this helps others
