| Posted by brew2au About putting POI file on my Garmin NUVI 1390t GPS Garmin NUVI 1390t GPS Can I get same help abut POI from you site... If I what to get just say safety Cameras that have BMP / CSV / GPX / WAV file on the site do I have to make a folder on my computer then put them in it? Do I just pick one file from CSV / GPX file from the site or do I need both of them? Before I load it up do I need to put sox in the POI folder in the Garmin GPS? Do I need to click on SOX Evey time I upload PIO or do I have it wrong? Then all the file in the folder like BMP / CSV /WAV do I upload them with Garmin POI loader or do I just upload the CSV file then open the Garmin GPS POI file then put the BMP & WAV file in the Garmin POI folder on it own. Can same one help me out please... |

| Posted by terry_hannah Garmin NUVI 1390t GPS I have only used the csv file which is just an excel file. Try making a folder called say, POI Downloads & download the csv file to the GPS POI Downloads folder. You will then need to use GPS POI Tools a Convert CSV to GPX file converter to convert your downloaded csv files into a GPX format which can then be loaded into your garmin unit. Hope this helps. |
