| Posted by elpolloloco SD card not recognized Hi! I have a Nuvi250 and I just bought a SD card to put Mexico maps on it. My computer reads the SD card alright but the Nuvi doesn't! I also have a Nuvi350 and it can read it's SD card just fine. Any ideas? I tried to download the Mexico maps (1.25 gig) on the Nuvi internal memory but it says it is too big...hence the SD card! Can I create more space on the Nuvi, paste the Mexico maps and foget about the SD card? Thanks for your help! |

| Posted by elpolloloco follow up ok, I just put the card from the 350 into the 250 and...it doesn't recognize it either! Is there a problem with the 250 unit?? |

THIS!!! Put a couple layers of tape on the tiny card, and it fit more snugly, and now my Garmin 50 will recognize the card! WOW !! Brilliant! Thanks! :D :D |
