| Posted by swbact3 More shutdown image problems (GO750) It seems that I'm not the only one who has trouble with a shutdown screen. See post: http://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/viewtopic.php?t=3377 I thought that I would open up a new topic, as my model is different to the one that is stated here, although it is a TomTom also. My previous model, a GO730 wouldn't show the shutdown image I had set up. It worked for a short time, but then started to use the startup image. I reported this to TomTom and after many emails back and forth; they basically just gave up on me. No matter what I tried, I just could not get the shutdown image to show. I have followed all the correct procedures but to no avail. My GO730 finally went south due to a problem with the screen, and through my extended warranty, I got a newer model, a GO750. What I find strange is that this is doing the same thing. Through TomTom Home, the image I want to show is in the correct folder but it just won't show. The image that is displayed for shutdown is not even on the device. Well, at least I can't see it through TomTom Home. I suppose it's just one of those things that I'll have to live with. Any suggestions? |
