Posted by beerm GPX or GPI Hello there! Can I put both these file types on my nuvi 710? Or do they have to be converted somehow? And if yes - how? Thanks a lot! Michael |

Posted by narsamma Re: GPX or GPI Beerm, you can find the answer here: http://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/topic/33.html You can also see if any POI conversion tool is good for you: http://www.gps-data-team.com/convert.php. I use them to convert garmin gpi files for use on my tomtom. |

POI Loader converts GPX into GPI for use on your Nuvi. So Download GPX files to your PC, use POI Loader to install onto your device, becomes a GPI on the Nuvi. Cheers, :) |

Posted by nicschmitt Watch for Duplication beerm - you can put both of these files on your NUVI using POI loader (which will convert them to GPI), but remember, if there are any duplicate POIs they will both show on the NUVI. I tend to stick to the GPX format and import to NUVI using POI Loader. Be consistent and make sure you don't have duplicate data. |
