Posted by cakesy How to detect open WiFi What do you use to detect open wifi. How do you tell a permanent wireless location, to just some random one open for a day. I am interested in doing a survey of some Sydney locations, I have an iphone, anyone have any ideas about utilities to use? |

Posted by gilesarthur WiFI I was driving around today for about 20 min with my netbook stopping every 500 meters or so and refreshing the wifi networks within range on XP installation. Was amazed at how many wifi setups there are every stop had at least 2 and upto 8 listed. only found 1 without security |
