| Posted by hibby Sat nav stolen Some toerags broke into my car... and got my sat nav... a broken window and inside messed up... Cops were not interested... Is it possible for sat nav to be disabled so no one can use it? How about a pin code that you have to input every time you turn it on? Any advice folks? |

| Posted by terrigal Re: sat nav stolen You know what the worst part is: they now know your home address and your car. They can easily track you and rob your unattended home, thanks to tomtom home software. Do you have some good home security system installed? |

| Posted by Finrith Simple Logic!! Just a bit of advice, don't leave your TomTom in the car, and don't programme your home address in, add it to your favourites under your own or partners name. |

Always report any theft or damage big or small. The police can't analyse hotspots and trends to resource patrols if we don't report it. |
