Check the connection to the external speaker if you are using one, as they can become loose, or, the connection internally may be disconnected.
The F20 is obsolete now and Navman won't even give you a trade in deal as per some other models.
May need to see a throat specialist

Check the battery condition or use the service manual for troubleshooting.
