Recently purchased a Navman MY55T and have been trying it out and found that when comming up to a School Zone it wont alarm till its right adjascent to the School, the 40K highlight stays up for quite few clicks after ive gone past it and also comes up even if i'm on a highway few blocks adjascent to the School??. This normal and can it be edited or fixed so its more precise or should i just download a new set of School Zones to add to my GPS??..If so how do i go about doing this??..  ..

I have a My55T also and I have notice the oposite in that it alerts me when I'm a street or 2 away (and I'm not going past a school).
Will be interesting to see other's comments

| Yes, I also have that happen but you will find that a school is nearby.

| The same - while other warnings are quite precise, it looks as schools zones are set up to alert at the distance of about 800 metres or so, which is quite annoying - this picks up all schools in the area even if they are not on the route.

| A warning for a school zone pops up when in the area even if you don't actually pass the school. This can be a little bit annoying!!

| Not sure why that happens as mine alerts me way before the 40km zone and even a street or 2 away!
