Ok so I am compiling my own poi, for NUVI265wt and have the complete gps info required, but if I want to add say a store name, phone number or hours of operation or noteson the pop up alert or id, where does this go in the csv format to create the new poi.:
format of address_City_State
#7 McKenzie Towne Gate S.E. Calgary Alberta
Visualize and confirm all coordinates gives this info for csv file:
50.915741,-113.962982,#7 McKenzie Towne Gate S.E. Calgary Alberta,-,
but I have yet to find a clear understanding of csv format or excel column format required with notes and comments for pop up proximity info with the appropriate seperation. I did find that the "@" symbol gives the proximity, and the "<" I think is the seperator for the phone number??
Any info on this would be helpful |

Easy. Try this:
-113.962982, 50.915741, McKenzie Town Church - 7 McKenzie Towne Gate SE; Calgary AB T2Z 3W5; Canada >+1 403-257-5360
Copy and paste that line into the PoiEdit.
Save it as a GPX file (hit the GPXx button to save it with proximity information) and load with PoiLoader.
Cheers

Thanks... thats what I was looking for, so I assume everything after the initial coordinates shows up as a popup then?
So If I wanted to add a comment like: Open 7 Days a week, 10:30 5:30 and closed at 8pm, using POIedit I could just modify the line to read:
-113.962982, 50.915741, McKenzie Town Church - 7 McKenzie Towne Gate SE; Open 7 days a week; 10:30 5:30 and closed at 8pm
and on the pop up we could get everything from McKenzie thru to 8 pm?
