Can i download tomtom extras on to a Mac laptop? If not can I change to a PC and put Tom Tom home on that? For some reason I thought you could only have it on one computer.
Thanks. |

So mine voice didn't show up on my tomtom... here's what i did to fix it:
- Follow the instructions for the .vif files
- Make sure it's .chk file is the same as the one in the folder
I think my yoda one was different
- Make sure the name is eight letters or less (darth vader won't fit)
I just copied the same numbers as the example because I didn't
want to take any chances even though they probably don't matter
delete the bmp files-they don't really matter. Instead of leaving the .vif and .chk files in the folder, paste them outside and delete the folder.
...there ya go !
Not all of these steps are necessary (probably) but it makes all the files in the voices folder look uniform and it works.
And yes, this works for macs.

Thanks. | When you plugin your tomtom, it loads it like a USB drive, so you can change it like you would any other drive. But as far as I know, to run easyusetools, you need to install parallels or bootcamp.
