I was planning on a road trip on the bike through Europe this summer. Unfortunately with the current situation I think it's probably best to postpone it. Going later this year would be great but its probably more than likely to be on the back burner until next summer.
I want to be able to plan multi days and multi stop routes once I get off the ferry in France. Has anyone any recommendations of which sat nav would be best?
I want to be able to take the scenic routes but I don't plan on going off road at any stage. I will have a small tent with me so accommodation hopefully won't be too much of an issue. What I would like is to be able to find interesting places to visit on the route. Am I better with a dedicated sat nav or just finding WiFi somewhere and using the phone?
The 2 options as I see it at the moment are the Rider 550 and the Zumo xt. Does anyone have any experience of using them for trip planning etc?
