I have just sent my 2599 back to Garman. As soon as it was out of warranty I got a message that I was using the wrong cable (no) & I was sent on detours literally doubling the travel time. Previous model similar. This time decided to communicate with Garman. My unit arrived with them 5 days ago but so far not shown received - their C S says it takes up to 14 days - suggest this infers they have a v heavy demand for repairs. Thinking of moving to Maps on phone ......
