This GARMIN is killing ME!
This is really madness. All the time without reason same message, I HAVE
TO PUSH AGAIN AGAIN DO DEACTIVATE THIS MESSAGE.
Who was that devil who created this?
I would certainly go to the court, this message is simply dangerous for driving.
I just called Garmin and was on the phone for 1 1/2 hours. Apparently this is some new message that they do not intend to do away with. I explained to them how dangerous it is to keep having to lean forward and focus on your garmin in order to clear the screen. They said they had no plans to correct this and that if you wanted it not to appear then you should buy one of the newer models where it doesn't show up . I told them it seemed like they were being very manipulative in the marketplace. She explained, "we just make some units with different abilities and controls than others.

At least you got them to admit it! The tech I spoke with claimed they had no such message programmed in their firmware. I do agree with what someone else suggested, that when it has appeared, the location was a "saved" geo code coordinate, and it always appears when I select that specific saved location - it is intermittent on other saved coordinates. Very annoying though, and I'm guessing it a result of a programming bug vs. being something they felt was useful.
October 13th! This started happening on my Nuvi. Very annoying. I was going to a public park (where they have parking) and I needed navigation so I didn't miss one turn as I was trying a new route. This prompt came up FIFTEEN times. Yesterday (Oct 17th) it even asked the question when I pressed the "go home" button.
I last updated maps & software in July 2017 before an out of town trip. I use the navigation several times a week and it has only just started happening.
