Would it be great if GPS manufacturers ( I have a GARMIN Nuvi 660) can syncronise the date and time using GPS and satelite data so that when it is holidays for schools and weekends the school speed camera and warnings are dissabled?

Could get you into trouble as there are a lot of school zones that stay at 40 kph ALL YEAR.....

The best way would be for Governments to force councils etc to use the illuminated and variable speed sign as there is no excuse for not seeing them, even on a 100kph highway.
