Nuvi 3590 lmt is silent

I have had other Nuvi's which had poi's and speed camera voice alerts.
The Garmin Nuvi 3590 is silent... Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Did you download the sound files to goith the POI's downloaded ?
You either need the mp3 or Wav files of the same name as the POI files.

Gerard have you had any luck getting your voice alerts to work?
I was successful in loading the speed camera .wav files that operate nicely on my 3590 and will be glad to share my experience with you.

Problem fixed

I have the same problem with my 3490LMT, I solved the problem by copying a file called SOX.exe into the directory where the Garmin program is installed, problem solved, as explained here:
