May not be a good idea as the time settings in the GPS would have to correct or incorrect warning given and blame the GPS, plus, all school zones are not set at the same times during the day.
One should know when school holidays are on, AND, some school zones are 24 hours 7 days per week as in the street where I live.
Not really. We just need Garmin to produce the school zones through their software that is already on the units when we buy them. I upgraded to a 2597 and the ones that came preloaded only sound during the designated go-slow periods. The ones I downloaded from here go off as soon as you approach them regardless of weekends, nighttime, whatever. Having said that, at least they do work. I've contacted Garmin last year reference this, but...no reply. Come on Garmin, step up!
