Post Problems getting GarminMapUpdater_v3.0.3.exe to run

Trying to get latest Garmin map loaded for my nuvi 1450T. I have to load GarminMapUpdater_v3.0.3.exe. When I run this file it comes up with an error "A connection with the server could not be established. Please ensure that you have a good connection to the internet and try again". Garnmin support have not been much help - advice was to disable firewall and switch off anti-virus software - tried this with same result. Only advice after that was to try another computer.

I am running Windows 7 and use Firefoz web browser. Habe tried on a Windows XP system with same result. Both pc's run through home wireless network.

had the same here in Scotland with my wife's .
try downloading the updater manually to your desktop run the installer then connect your garmin it should work this way good luck Wink

Try to old version of garmin map loader until gamin fix the problem.
