Hi, can anybody please tell me if I bought a Garmin Streetpilot iii from America, would it work in the uk without any problems ?

My friend did this and it worked fine after he installed the correct data for the UK.
Another friend had problems, and it didnt work.
I guess it depends on the make/model.
