Is there any one using a HTC desire (Telstra)?

I think the phone got both Google navigation and a 'where is' navigation.

The 'where is' navigation is developed by Telstra and Garmin. You have to pay to use most of the functions of the software.

Just wondering if it is a better software compare with the Google map navigation? Is it worthy to pay for it? And is it similar to a Garmin GPS?

Thank you

The HTC Desire is pretty good for GPS, I use it when walking in areas I do not know. However My Garmin 250W with all the Alerts is the ONLY way to go when travelling in the Car.

Would have to agree with using a dedicated GPS rather than a phone for vehicle navigation. I have the HTC Desire and would find it hopeless in the car whilst driving due to screen too small.
