hi,
my first posting since getting an Orange San Francisco ...

I am hoping to get better speecam setup than is currently on my Sygic Mobile Maps satnav (ver.8.0.6 with v.7.80 maps)

I really would like all cameras, inc 'zoned' and preferably with voice alerts if at all poss. ...
(I had this setup on tomtom on my old winmo phone)

My problem just now is that having downloaded Sygic poi's from download pages, .. all I got was three types of file:
Sygic UPI POI, Sygic Tab POI, and Sygic CSV POI

apparently I need these in 'UPI' format as is currently in my maps folder.

Can anyone please advise me how to convert them, or obtain the correct one's ?

Many thanks,
Kevin

Yes, get POIs here: GPS POI Directory or convert your files here: Sygic Converter (load your CSV, KML, KMZ, GPX, GPI, DB3 or OV2 files and save them as Sygic UPI files).

Sygic software can process .upi and .rupi files, there is no need to convert .upi files to .rupi files.

Select .csv or .txt files and run the converter to convert the files to UPI file format.

You can also find some CSV files formated for Sygic.
The delimiter should be specified in the first line of the TXT/CSV file
Example: delimiter=,
Sygic POI format:
longitude , latitude , name , address , phone , fax , web , email , short description , long description

Sygic POI format:
longitude | latitude | name | address | phone | fax | web | email | short description | long description

First 3 parameters are required (longitude, latitude, name)

How to import Sygic POIs on Android smartphones:
Copy *.upi and *.bmp files directly into Sygic/Maps/import. (Sygic does not allow you to create extra folders)
Do not copy folders. If you don't have an import folder then create it.
Start Sygic app and follow the prompts to complete installation.

How to import POIs for iPhone and iPad (iOS):
Connect your iPhone/iPad and start iTunes. Go to [File Sharing] [Sygic].
Copy or drag and drop all UPI and BMP files directly into the Sygic folder. (Sygic does not allow you to create extra folders)
Sync your iPhone / iPad with iTunes, and start Sygic software.

How to convert my text to upi files:
Use this UPI Converter: https://www.gps-data-team.com/convert/poiedit.php to open your file, save it as UPI and copy it to your device.

How to convert UPI files to RUPI files:
There is no need to convert upi to rupi files. They do exactly the same job.

Hi
I use Sygic (on Android-Huawei Mate 10 Pro). I'm very satisfied.
