have one Nuvi 1410. I tried to add custom POI using POI loader.

I had 3 files in my POI folder to upload to device:

a_speed_50.csv
a_speed_50.bmp (24x24 pixels)
a_speed_50.wav

I have sox.exe present in the same folder of POI loader.

When installed all the points appear correctly in the custom POI but facing the following problems:

1. Icon are not appearing, just a round green dot is there.
2. Sound alert is not as the same of my file, but there is sound of deafult buzzer.
3. while loading, I have set to alert only for overspeed, but it also alerts at the starting of distance, even speed is not over.

Any help, please.

I think you will find that you will get an alert whenever the speed limit changes (at start or at distance you set in download) and then only get a warning if you go over that speed until the next speed change zone.

Yes, thats what happen. But I dont want sound alert on start-up of distance, just when I am over-speed. How to stop that sound alert on startup?

You cant really, GPS are not designed to do that, they are designed to find a particular place e.g. school zone and do an alert there, but it cant do a general over speed alert, at least none that i know of are capable of it as yet.

Something for the future perhaps?

You will have to turn the sound OFF completely...
