I have just bought the 660 and paid and loaded the speed alerts off the garmin web site. Then i find out that there speed alerts dont talk to you. So I joined gps data to get your speed camera files which i had on my old nuvi. When i download the All speed red light Au file it says on the garmin that you can only have 999 favourites and to get rid of the other 1047.
So i down loaded the separate nsw speed files and the red light files and the garmin would only see one of them in my favourites.
What am i doing wrong? The nuvi was so easy.
Im putting the file in the "GPX" folder on the unit.
You can not just copy the file to the GPS... You have to use the program called POI loader, available from Garmin, and it arranges all your POI files etc into one file called POI.gpi and loads that to the GPS.
