I just bought one of these Garmin nuvi 465t for my truck and think they're not good at all Evil or Very Mad
The sound keeps dropping out, and it actually diverted me to light traffic rd's, when it would have been easier to go around it!
I'm in AUS by the way, has anyone on here got one of these?
Any input appreciated.

Hi, I have a nuvi 465T as well. Quick fix for the sound is to not run it at 100% try just under and she works. Hope this helps.

Sounds like your gps is set for motorcycle/car instead of truck.
It will use different calculations for heavy vehicles, and, you can set it to avoid different type of roads.
Got to the setup section and alter the settings to suit your needs...

If you update the software on the Garmin 465t you will find the voice works much better.

You will find your 465t helps much more if you load POI's onto it.

These are great helper files and the time spent to figure them out is well spent!

If the GPS is directing a truck to minor roads, it sounds like it may not be set for truck mode, or, it does not have truck mode navigation as an option.
