I am wanting to modify a default icon on my TomTom 340XL. Does anybody know where these are located?

Are you referring to the car icon?
If your model has the functionality, it'll be with the preferences--change car icon.

The changed icon only appears in 3D view, not 2D

You should create your picture to the usual size, and spell it like the same of your POI file.
Paste it on the right Tomtom folder and go ahead Wink

Thanks for the feedback but I am wanting to colour the default icons eg 'petrol station' to replace the black provided. I want to know where these icons are located. Thanks.
