Problem with Garmin 1350?     
I have a Garmin 1350 and I cannot get the custom POI's I make give an alert either on speed or distance. I have installed the same files on another Garmin (not 1350) and they work OK so I'm doing it right.
My POI's are there but the only way an alert comes up with the audio file is when I select the POI as a destination.

I have updated the firmware and still no success. The Garmin loaded POI's work OK. Is there anyone with a 1350 using custom POI's with alerts?

Did you enable alerts in the settings menu?

Ahh.. perhaps that's the problem.. I'll check it for sure and set it if it hasn't been already and will holler if any further problems...

Make sure to use the right icons (size 22x22) and the WAV audio file.

I cannot get the voice alert to work on my 1350 POI's, instead i just get the beep beep warning. I have installed the bmp, gpx and mp3 files as per instructions with no luck. I tried using wav files instead but the poi loader says it cannot convert them and they will not be uploaded.

Can anyone help?
