Icons no longer show in my Nuvi 310 maps

I have not been able to find a post which relates to my problem, so forgive me if I have duplicated one.

Until recently, icons showing POIs have been visible on my maps which show the location of things like brand name petrol stations, shops, etc. These have disappeared. My map setting is set to Most Detail.

I have also noted that in various posts there are references to a Where to\Extras selection. In the 310 custom POIs are located in Where to\My Locations. Is that correct?

Try doing a hard reset on the device. These devices have limited memory, and when it starts to fill up, it stop doing stuff like loading up images.

Reset the device will clear out the memory.

Thanks for the replies, however it's not a memory issue.

I have since found that I can see some of them if I use maximum zoom. I can't see as many as before.

Any suggestions?

How much memory is needed for most sat navs?
