I installed some POI's and loaded them up on my 660. As I set up some gas stations, I changed the alert distance to 11,000 feet so it would tell me if there was a station wintin a couple of miles while traveling the interstate. I only installed the GPX file, nothing else
I found that they work sometimes and sometimes not.
I drove from Michigan to Kentucky and in Norther Ohio, an alert went off for Loves truck stop. none of the speedways and such gave me an alert.
as I got near my home, I went by another Loves and it did not alert me. I checked to see if that location was in the POI and it was.
Today, I drove right by several Speedway's and only one on my trip gave me an alert.
anyone got any idea's why they work sometimes and other times they do not?
I think it may be due to the alerts not all having the same amount of information for each alert, as I have noticed the same thing on rare occasions.
You could find out by editing the file and check one alert against another.
