GPS: TomTom XL

Post Location of Warning / Sound Files

I am running an XL model, and am wondering where the OGG (warning / sound files) files should be stored. I seem to have 2 directories with the files in them.
1. Australia (map directory I think)
2. Sounds
At the moment I am putting any new in both as this is quicker than experimenting by removing files, going for a drive, and seeing if they work.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Store them in the country directory which is where the maps are located as well.

I have a TT v4, which is similar. I have all my warning sounds in the 'sounds' folder. When asking TT to 'warn when near point of interest', you will be able to choose the sound you want from this folder as it will be on the option list. Putting an ogg file in the map folder shouldn't do any harm, but I would clean them out if I were you. If you are afraid of losing anything, Make a back-up folder,(not using TT home),to be on the safe side.
