This issue may already have been covered but I have been unable to find a response.
I have been unable to get the unit to perform a hard rest. It will only open the initial screen and then freeze.
The unit was used continuously for 8 weeks and no problem then would not start 11 months later, even after charging.
Appreciate any assistance as Garmin cannot provide any help other rsyaing to send it in for service.
Can you be more specific.
What do you call the 'initial' screen?
What does appear on your 'initial' screen?
1. Make sure your 760 is fully charged before you start hard reset.
2. You may have to press bottom R/H corner of your screen for 10 sec. or more before you see anything on the screen!
