Using an excellent easy to use tool to create POI's on my Garmin Nuvi770, excepting I haven't yet succeeded in assigning map symbols for restaurants, pubs etc.
Has anyone any ideas?

The icon files get uploaded with your poi files.
The icon (BMP) should be 24x24 96 dpi.
The name of the file MUST be exactly the same (CASE Sensitive) as the POI file,other than the extension of course, and in the same directory.
It will get uploaded at the same time as the POI file.
