Where can I find Bob Dylan voice file?
Thanks

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind.

Had some good fun making my own voice file using the VoiceStudio download from Garmin for my 1340. Of course, you don't have to stick to the script. Mine is much less annoying now that it says "DOOHHHH!! Recalculating!" doing my best Homer Simpson impression. In fact it's worth taking a wrong turning to see the look on your passenger's face!

Just one problem - it doesn't speak street names like the official 'Emily' or 'Daniel' and it can't find Mo's Bar.

Hey Garmin Mama,
Does this work with the 660? I've always wanted to change a few phrases on that unit.

No, the original post says it does not work with Nuvi 600 series.

I use Dr Nightmare. Less intrusive than standard voice... more fun as well.

I had my family record instructions using the free Garmin app. Its very good and using familiar voices is spooky. Of course I didn't stick to the script.

You can create your own sound files if you have time on your hands.

Why is it so hard to find a free garmin voice other than the ones listed on https://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/topic/2258.html ?

As the previous member said, "you can make your own".
Can be a bit of fun as well if it means that much to have a different voice yapping away in the background Very Happy

Make the sound file (mp3 or wav) and name it the same as per the POI file it goes with.
ie. speed_camera.gpx file
speed_camera.wav or mp3
then put it in the same directory where the POI files are and load them with POI Loader.
