GPS: Garmin Zumo 550

Zumo 550 voice problem

I can't for the life of me get my Zumo 550 to see these voice files. Have tried 3 times now......very frustrating. Evil or Very Mad

Any ideas?

I know that you mentioned it's not compatible with nuvi 600 series

But , excuse my ignorance, does that means it's not compatible with nuvi 650?

The 600 series includes all models starting with 6** so yes it includes the 650. Laughing

Voive .SUM extensions

I've downloaded Dr Nightmare etc but I think I need a .sum extension to see on my Nuvi 250W. Does anyone know the answer?

I didn't know you could change the voices on a Garmin.... thanks for the info....I'll be trying some different ones soon.

See here how to make yourself a nuvi voice (if you have a voice like Angelina Jolie).

Download, install and try - delete or keep if you like them.
