Post POI data for Uniden GNS 8350

Hi
We have a Uniden GNS8350 and are trying to find out wheather the POI files can be read and edited on our windows Vista Computer.
The data folders are by Australian states and contain
Alpha files, Bin files and Dat files which I cant read with Notepad ect
any help would be apriciated

I need to see data file format.
You should ask Unided about third party data upload procedure.
