If you're looking for the best phone I personally recommend you the N97. It's the best phone I've ever had and the internal GPS works like a charm. Very very good phone.
I am looking at buying either a Nokia N97 or a HTC Touch Pro 2.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on either of the two phones?
HTC make some nice devices, but there is no way I would go with a Windows Mobile device. Windows lost the plot years ago, and have been overtaken in everyway by Palm, Apple, almost everyone else. Not sure how symbian compares, but it can't be worse the WinMo. It had such promise too, and maybe with WinMo 7 released late next year Microsoft will catch up. But why wait.
Hi guys!
I have a HTC diamond and it works great! GPS is nearly as quick as my TT 710, however the processor in the HTC's hasn't increased grealtly over the last few models. So, I think Nokia N97 might well be worth a look-see

Both Nokia and HTC make good phones. You just have to make a decision which operating system you go with - Symbian (I believe this is what N runs) or Windows Mobile.
I disagree with a number of opinion that Windows lost the plot, etc. I you are part-business user like me, Windows is still the best; I run my HTC TyII all over the world getting email, news, other info; besides there are a plenty of 3d party applications for it.
While I like iPhones; their sizes, battery life and glitches while syncronising with office Exchange based systems put me off.
There are some great Android devices coming out. There are so many options. The beauty of Android is that they sink very well with Google applications.
Personally, I think if you want it for business, got for a blackberry. Blackberry have the best business stack, and won't crash twice a day like Windows Mobile.
I say Microsoft lost the plot with Windows Mobile, because they had such a lead in the early days, they offered a lot more functionality than anything else around, including the leader for years, Palm. They could do so much more, then Microsoft just decided to stop improving on it, and it has stayed the same buggy OS for years. The browser is a joke.
