GPS: Garmin Nuvi 310

Suitable upgrade / replacement for the Nuvi 310

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to upgrade to a newer model garmin gps, I currently have a nuvi 310 and have been happy with it thus far, however it has started to play up hence the time has come to replace it. I would be interested to hear what model would be suitable replacement for the nuvi 310.

Do any of the garmin gps's have the functionality of live traffic updates, as that feature would really rock.

New Garmin Unit

I have recently bought the new Nuvi 1490T and would recommend it for the size of the screen (5 inches). It's also quite portable as it is a fairly slim device also.

Regarding traffic updates - I haven't had a chance to play with that functionality yet.

Nuvi650

Will , it seems that the unit that I have , NUVI650, is getting obsolete

I bought it only one year ago, how fast these things are getting obsolete

I need to upgrade to a new one
And I'm not restricted to Garmin

Any recommendations what's the best value unit ?
