Hi, I have the new S200 Navman. Is there any new maps updates for this S200?
I have the 2008 maps.
I was told that there will be a quarter 4 2008 map will be out soon is this true? Dose this mean that a 2008 update will be out soon?
Hopefully you mean the s100 and not 200 or have i missed something? anyway the s100 ships with maps from the 4th quarter of 2008 as it uses Tele Atlas 2008.10 so you may not see another up date on that system for a while, where as the S90/S80 are currently shipped with maps from the second quarter of 2007 Tele Atlas 2007.4 but even they were well out of date before being released. Just waiting for the so called new updated maps due at the end of June 2009 if you believe the hype for the s90i. Can't believe it takes them this long to update maps when other companies who produce the paper version every year update theirs without a song and a dance and only charge a couple of quid.
Hi-jacked this abit but it's just wrong to buy a new satnav and for the maps to be out of date and then possibly have to wait a couple of years and pay a fortune on top of what you paid for the satnav in the first place to get new maps which may still be out of date........
