I am installing iGo onto my Joying JY-UL135 HU. I launch the apk and it seems to install and then i click the Open link. I get the following message: "Missing or incomplete folder: /data/data/com.basarsoft.igo.javaclient/content/lang"
I unzipped the Lang_English-us file and it created a directory under the lang folder. In that folder are several files and another directory called: i18n with several other directories and files.
Any idea how to get past this error?
Joying company hasn't been the best in answering yet.
Their directions also call for deleting 2 files in the Content dir and I have done that.
They also mention that there are 4 'files' which I see as folders/directories: building, dem, map, poi. It says to copy the 4 to the content directory and replace the IGO four files. But nothing says to replace with what?
I got it figured out.
Joying kindly sent me a link to a map file, it had an extension of 'rar'. I asked several times what to do with this and they did not answer that, I couldnt figure out what to do with it and the apk file.
Finally the internet explained what 'rar' was, it was basically a zipped file. So I found a program that would unzip the file and I moved 3 directories into the iGO structure and then tried the install.
Something so simple yet so much of a headache.
Now off to the races and see if I can tweak the sys file a little to see what I can get.
